Spring Farm to Table Dinner
As summer begins, take an evening for yourself to slip away and refresh your senses at the beautiful farmscape of Roost Farms. With the natural world blooming all around us, we’ll pause to truly savor it all- the scent of the flowers in the air, cedar logs crackling in the fire pit, and the rich aromas of an Italian-themed, family-style dinner. We’ll linger over a four course meal with neighbors and new friends, sharing laughter and enjoying the simple certainty that we are surrounded by so many good things to taste, savor, and celebrate.
Guest Chef Arianna Sertoli.
Local favorite and returning farm dinner chef Arianna brings a world of flavor to the table. Born in Italy and seasoned by a life of travel it's easy to see how her curiosity and skill amount to a tasty Mediterranean kitchen. We're grateful to have Arianna take us another enticing culinary journey this summer.
Guest musician René Moffatt.
For the first time we'll have live, original music at one of our farm dinners! Local artist René is a singer-songwriter crafting lyric-driven songs filled with emotional honesty, memorable hooks, and storytelling that feels both whimsical and profound. René will start our evening playing his music during our appetizers and then return for more of his “heady folk for the open-hearted” style alongside dessert. This will be a pairing that you don’t want to miss!
Dinner details.
Our Italian themed meal with a beef based entrée will also feature several delicious and satisfying items grown or raised on the farm or from other local producers. Arianna’s culinary artistry, mastery of presentation, and creativity elevates all of these wonderful ingredients into a memorable taste experience. This farm dinner will truly be an unforgettable, farm-fresh experience that brings the best of spring to your plate.
Cost.
A seat at our table is $125. This includes a four course meal- appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert- and two generous glasses of Italian wine per person. Additional wine will be available at a reasonable price.
Dinner time.
Doors will open for our farm dinner at 6:00 pm. Dessert and the final musical session is likely to start around 8ish. There will be plenty of time to linger and explore the farm (chickens, goats, gardens, & zip line!).
What about bad weather?.
Our tables can be covered with tents to protect from a light drizzle. In more serious weather a dinner may be canceled. In the event of a cancellation, you can either receive a refund, or apply your payment to another dinner.

As the sun sets we'll talk and dine together under twinkling lights and the sweeping branches of our black locust trees. Together we'll share a few hours enjoying the farm's summer bounty and all of the beauty that fills this place. Roost Farms' farmer and baker, Chris & Liz, are preparing a satisfying menu that blends what the farm has to offer into a creative experience that you won't want to miss. We can't wait to welcome you to our farm for this dinner with our community- please join us!
Cost. A seat at our dinner is $85.
What's included? Four course, drinks, tax and tip. All for $85. This is a final price- nothing added.
Dinner Time. Please try and arrive at 6 pm. We'll have a casual start where you can meet the hosts, talk with other guests, and explore the farm. When you arrive the starters and a glass of white wine or a beer will be waiting for you. Dinner will be served family style beginning at the tables at 6:30. We can seat you as party but we are always hoping you'll also get to know others from the community and perhaps make some new friends. We aim to allow plenty of time to enjoy the dinner and still bring out courses in a timely manner. During the meal we'll have bottles of wine on the table to share. Think of this as something like a family holiday meal that unfolds over an hour or two. For this meal our dessert course will be set up around our fire pit and you're welcome to toast S'Mores and continue enjoying the evening.
